2025, we start right away: at Heimtextil, the world’s largest textile fair in Frankfurt. You will find our stand in Hall 12.1, at stand D26. Heimtextil lasts from 14 to 17 January.
The fair is also our kick-off to the movement we want to make from impact machine to impact office by 2025. After all, the question we always ask at nxtile is: how much impact do you want to make? Because we don’t sell products, we sell impact. And that impact has grown rapidly in the five years we have been around. So we are very satisfied with that. And yet we want to put even more emphasis on impact. Because for us it is not a buzzword, it is our reason for existence! How will we tackle that in 2025?
Increased focus on Hospitality
To begin with, we will intensify our services to the hospitality segment next to the other segments we serve like packaging & merchandise and home textiles, hospitality is pre-eminently a sector where we can make a lot of impact. Decision-makers in this sector are increasingly aware of the unholy path of microplastics in textiles and unsustainable production methods. Hotel guests are also expressing themselves more and more critically about this. Precisely our textiles made of 100% recycled cotton are for them the alternative they need to become sustainable and circular in one step. First mover customers that experienced our 100% recycled cotton technology like Best Western Hotels & Resorts have stimulated large others as well and we have high hopes for a real breakthrough in this world.
At the center of 100% recycled cotton
A second step is to raise our profile at the centre of 100% recycled cotton. We so often receive visitors who look with great amazement at what we do and what we have already achieved. We want to put this impact machine more emphatically on display. Just take the tea towels, cushion covers, aprons and potholders we made for the Van Gogh Museum. In doing so, we save 2.5 Olympic swimming pools of water, 3 football fields of land and prevent the CO2 emissions of a petrol car driving once around the world. All natural resources that are no longer needed thanks to our 100% recycled product range.
Worldwide Impact Office
This is also our message for 2025, our ideal: to grow from an impact machine to a global impact office. The heart from which we direct and influence processes that lead to more savings, to fewer emissions, to a change in thinking and behaviour among consumers, guests and visitors. Things can be different, they must be different. Many parties have taken the first step, many more we want to follow.
